Working from the ground up

Failing to prepare is to prepare to fail. Here at Adapt Flooring no matter how small or large your project is we take the subfloor preparation seriously.

The floor you are presented with is rarely the floor you need to continue with the job in hand. We are well equipped to prepare all substrates with the relevant testing taken out first to make sure we are going to handle the situation correctly. Whether we are uplifting an old carpet or stripping old vinyl waste is taken and disposed of correctly and where possible recycled.

Testing is key to fitting any impervious flooring, to make sure you sub-floor is in good enough condition to receive its floor covering. All moisture testing is completed at the quoting stage of our works so we can provide you with the correct system for your flooring installation. This is especially important with luxury vinyl tile installations and also safety flooring as residual moisture can affect the performance of your product long term.

The Top Layer

Sheet Vinyl

Altro they call it, the client says they want Altro. Don't get us wrong Altro is a great brand but so are Polyflor, Gerflor and Forbo to name a few. In a range of thickness', slip ratings and designs our knowledgeable management team will help and guide you to choose the correct product for your flooring needs. We spend about 60% of our time at Adapt installing these products, subfloor prep is key as always but so is the finishing. Our installers are all trained by Will one of the directors on how to create the perfect welds, the devil is in the detail here.

Carpet

Carpets are a flooring staple. Whether broadloom or tile there will always be a place for that soft touch underfoot. We offer a wide range of stock carpets for projects from brands such as Cormar, Brintons and Danflor. Most of our installations are bonded carpets, in the commercial world this is more common. From carpet tiles for your offices or anti microbial carpets for care facilities, we've got you covered.

Luxury Vinyl Tile

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is a type of flooring that mimics the appearance of natural materials such as stone, wood or ceramic. It is made of multiple layers of PVC vinyl and features a high-resolution photo-realistic image layer, a clear protective wear layer, and a solid backing layer. LVT is water-resistant, durable, and easy to maintain, making it a popular choice for high-traffic areas in commercial spaces. Additionally, it is often more affordable than the materials it imitates, while still providing a luxurious look.
